How can Physiotherapy assist you?
Physiotherapy aims to develop, maintain and restore movement and function. Movement and function may be threatened by aging, injury, disease or environmental factors. Physiotherapy can assist you with every day functional tasks and general mobility. The aim of physiotherapy is to achieve maximal health benefits, injury prevention, provide treatment and rehabilitation. Treatment and rehabilitation may vary from person to person, however therapy may include but is not limited to aerobic exercise, strengthening exercise, range of movement, balance training, equipment assessments and mobility re-education.

Our Services
We can provide 1:1 physiotherapy sessions if you have specific goals. Alternatively, we can provide group physiotherapy classes with a focus around fitness or upper limb therapy depending on your needs. We have several groups that run throughout the week from Monday through Friday.
We also run an after school group physiotherapy programme for children who have a neurological condition from ages 10 to 16.
Our qualified Physiotherapist, Shaunna Morissette is involved in assessing each person who uses the IRIS Rehabilitation Gym, whether it is for 1:1 or group therapy. We accept self referrals as well as referrals from GPs including Green Prescription.
